This stunning & unique 3 bed / 2 bath unit is brand spanking new, along with all of the furnishings. It includes 1 King, 1 Double, & 1 Twin size private bedrooms. The unit is extremely clean and remarkably decorated. Only a 5 minute walk to Ashmont station (red line), which takes you directly to Downtown Boston, Harvard Square, South Boston, Kendall/MIT, U Mass. There are two great restaurants nearby - Molinari’s and Tavolo Ristorante, as well as a local coffee shop + a Dunkin just across the T Station.
The Space:
This historical property was built in 1894. It is located in Ashmont Hill, which is an area within Boston's Dorchester neighborhood that is known for their beautiful Victorian homes & its diverse and eclectic neighborhood.
The house is located only about a five minute walk from Ashmont metro station, which is the first or last station on the red line. Extremely convenient.
The Ashmont Suite is Unit 2 (2nd & 3rd Floor) of this Victorian two family home to which we have converted into a unique Guest House and Outdoor Living Space that is open year round, with the exception of The Office, which is closed during the winter months.

Guest Access:
The Ashmont Suite is a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom condominium. One bedroom (The Antler Room) has a twin size bed. The second (The Buddha Room) has a double size bed. And the third (The Master Room) has a king size bed. The Buddha and Master Bedrooms are located on the 3rd floor, and share the 3rd floor bathroom. While the Antler Room is located on the 2nd floor, and has its own bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.
The condo includes an open living room/dining and kitchen. Long term guests (7+ days or more) may also have access to the in-unit washer and dryer, if needed. Please kindly reach out to your host if you need to use the washer and dryer.
Everything is brand-new, modern and very comfortable.

Summary: Beautiful property - lots of space indoors and outdoors. Outside space is shared with others in this big house, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The Office/shed is only open when the owners let you in to serve welcome drinks. The neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges. Not very many walkable conveniences. Two subway stations are walkable though on the Red line.

Summary: This was the first of 2 stays over a 3 week holiday. The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean and well fitted out. Eddie was always prompt and helpful with the couple of queries we had. No complaints at all.

Summary: I use VRBO alot but this trip was thrown together at the last minute to get up to Boston for an important conference and it started with having booking problems with VRBO's software. The host Eddie, graciously helped me navigate the whole situation along with numerous logistics during the trip. Hands down one of the best hosts I have ever had! The property was amazing, great location, great outdoor spaces (very important in Boston where land is a premium) and many ammenities. I would consider trying to get it again next year too if Eddie would have us! Thank you again Eddie :)

Summary: The Ashmont Suite was accurately described. It was in a quiet older neighborhood. The home was clean, well appointed and truly had every thing we needed. Communication from the owner was timely and clear. We stayed as a family as our son was running the Boston Marathon. The property was about a 20 minute Uber to the airport and downtown area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to others.

Summary: The suite is in a beautifully restored old home with two other suites. Ours was in the top section of the home which required moving suitcases up quite a few steps. Parking is on a busy road and there is only enough space for two cars in front of the house, which might require carrying lugguage a bit further. Other than that it was a really nice place to stay.
